And techniques to put someone under genjutsu include casting spell on them, eye contacts, creating sound effects that put listeners under illusion without them realizing it, create fumes which when sniffed put you under illusion,etc. There are genjutsu in Naruto that can damage victims psychologically but the pain they receive from it are physical, genjutsus that paralyse victims while they receive false images,etc. Genjutsus do exist in Skyrim, some of them are fear, calm, courage, chaos, etc.īut these spells simply make an npc run away, calm down or lashes at comrades.Furthermore, not all npcs are vulnerable to illusion which makes it an underrated spell sysytem. Genjutsu literally means illusion, It is performed when a ninja uses his/her chakra to control victim's chakra flow inside their brain thereby allowing the caster to create false images inside victims' mind trick them into believing that whatever they see, hear and feel are real.
I don't know how many elder scrolls players are fans of Naruto but adding Genjutsu spells to the next game will bring whole new level to the illusion skill tree.
